My First Stampin’ Up Cards!!
Below you will find my very first work with some new Stampin up products. This is a tone-on-tone card. This card was fairly easy to create, by using coordinating paper, ink, and some embossing powders. I think this card will make a beautiful note card, or any occasion card. I did leave the inside of the card blank, so I can alter it to fit my needs.
To create this card I used a few of the In Colors for 2016-2018. These are such bright, vivid colors, and will make for some great crafty creations!! I started by cutting a few sheets of the 8 1/2 by 11 card stock, in Dapper Denim, and Emerald Envy, down to 8 1/2 by 5 1/2. When folded the cards will measure 4 1/4 by 5 1/2. Next I used the “Crazy about you” Stamp set, choosing a bold floral stamp from the set. I then stamped that image, using the matching In Color inks, in Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy, saving some space for one final image, which I heat embossed. In that space, I used Versa mark Ink on my stamp, then used Stampin Emboss powder in White, and my heat tool, to set it. I will state, that the Emerald Envy card, at the very bottom is created using ALL Stampin up products. On the Dapper Denim card, I did use a different brand of embossing powder. (Called Snowflake Tinsel, by Ranger). Now, if you notice, I do have one card that appears to not have been embossed. On that card, I did use my clear “Wink Of Stella” pen, just to add a little sparkle to one of the flowers, to help it jump off the page a bit! Again, the inside was left blank, so I can just grab it, add a sentiment and it can fit many different needs. You will find my list of products I used to create these cards below. hope you enjoyed this lil post and I hope I have provided you with some fresh inspiration! Happy Crafting!!
